The court arrested 122 million euros in the accounts of Mikhail Abyzov
The Moscow Basmanny Court arrested 121.7 million euros (8.7 billion rubles) in bank accounts of the former Minister for Open Government Affairs Mikhail Abyzov. TASS reports it with reference to court spokeswoman Yunona Tsareva. The petition of the investigation was granted on 4 July. The decision has not been appealed yet.
What banks are we talking about, Tsareva did not specify.
Abyzov was detained in Moscow in late March, he was arrested. The former minister is accused of fraud and organization of the criminal community. According to investigators, he led a complex transaction with his assets, as a result of which four billion rubles were taken abroad.
