Vladivostok Customs revealed two grave violations of currency legislation committed by a Russian importing company
It was established that a limited liability company entered into two foreign trade agreements with various South Korean firms for the supply of goods - cars and trucks, minibuses, off-road vehicles, accessories for them, as well as cranes, excavators and other special equipment.
One of the contracts was concluded in the amount of more than 5.2 million rubles, the other - about 3.4 million rubles. The corresponding sums went abroad, but the machinery was not imported into the address of the importer within the terms specified by the contract.
Due to the fact that the limited liability company did not fulfill its obligations to return the transferred sums, which in total amount to about 8.6 million rubles, Vladivostok Customs opened two administrative cases under Part 5 of Article 15.25 of the Code for Administrative Offenses.
According to the head of the department, Inna Korzh, for 8 months of 2016, this kind of offense constitutes 90.5% of the total amount of violations of currency legislation.
According to the violations revealed, from January to August 2016, 19 cases of offences were initiated in accordance with Part 5 of Art. 15.25 of the Code for Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation in the amount of 4.6 billion rubles, including 3 cases of further criminal proceedings.
