RRC and Linksys renewed their cooperation
The RRC and Linksys have signed new distributorship agreement. It is to be reminded that at the end of the year 2012 Cisco sold its affiliate developing technologies for in-home networks, and its leading brand Linksys to the Belkin, US company.
The new agreement will permit RRC to become a major supplier of the equipment from Linksys in Russia. Deliveries will be made under the DDU terms, permitting RRC to provide its counterparts with comprehensive support in respect of the equipment from Linksys, maintain a permanent stock for its distributors and increase their opportunities for the promotion of Linksys in Russia and CIS.
It is worth noting that the history of the distribution relationship between RRC and Linksys begins from 2005. In this time RRC became the major strategic counterpart of Linksys in Russia. In its turn, the Smart Wi-Fi, a line of routers from Linksys, became one of the Russian best sellers at the year-end of 2012 in the user segment High End. Furthermore, in the opinion of analytics, Linksys as part of the Belkin, can increase its product line and will develop new segments of the network market not occupied before.
